Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification

• Degree from a recognized University

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in:
  • Shipping Operations
  • Cargo Operations
  • Railway Transportation
• Experience must be in executive cadre positions within:
  • Government Organizations
  • Semi-Government Organizations
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
  • Industrial Undertakings
  • Commercial Organizations

Deputation Eligibility

Officers holding:

• Analogous posts

OR

• Deputy Traffic Manager (Docks Manager) or equivalent posts in the Traffic Department with 3 years of regular service in the grade in Government, Semi-Government Organizations, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies

Selection is based on merit and the overall grading in APARs/ACRs should not be below “Very Good”.

• Analyze operational data and prepare management reports
• Support strategic planning for traffic and cargo operations
• Lead departmental teams and oversee administrative functions
