Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in automotive design and product development
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, Creo, NX, SolidWorks, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and engineering design principles
• Experience in component development and engineering change management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components and assemblies for new product development projects
• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAE, testing, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, reliability, safety, and cost targets
• Participate in design reviews and engineering validation activities
• Support prototype development, testing, and product launch activities
• Analyze design issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage engineering changes and product improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations
• Support continuous improvement and innovation within product development processes
